Cocos Development Engineer

Job Description

  • Develop HTML5 games using Cocos Creator and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with planners and designers to discuss development requirements and game implementation details.
  • Work with backend developers to define API formats.
  • Complete game development, optimization, bug fixing, and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Cocos Creator or other relevant engines.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and front-end technologies related to HTML5 standards.
  • Understanding of HTTP, WebSocket, Protobuf, and other network communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of the three core characteristics and five principles of object-oriented programming.
  • Experience using Git for version control.
  • Strong learning and communication skills.
  • Good programming, commenting, and testing habits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Over two years of development experience with Cocos Creator or experience with related engines such as Egret, Unity, or PixiJS.
